This furniture design studio will focus on various issues associated with nomadic lifestyles. Investigate a variety of new materials; test their
limitations in furniture applications; research various nomadic cultures to better understand the
significance and function of the objects they possess. Sketching,
modeling, creation of working prototypes. One scheduled field trip to
a local manufacturer of nomadic structures or to a furniture
manufacturer.
