About Instructor:


Sarah C. Harwell was a University Fellow in the Syracuse University Graduate Creative Writing Program. She writes both fiction and poetry and won the Joyce Carol Oates prize for best group of poems, the Delmore Schwartz prize for best poem and the Jeremy Lake Memorial Fiction Prize for best story. Her publishing credits include the journals Poetry and Margie and she is one of the featured poets in a book entitled Three New Poets published by Sheep Meadow Press this year. She has taught composition, fiction and poetry at both Syracuse University and Hamilton College. Sarah is currently working on a humorous children's novel about death, chaos and dust.
