P/T Instructors Needed

The English Language Institute at Syracuse University is seeking dynamic part-time instructors interested in working on a contract basis. Master's degrees in TESOL/applied linguistics are preferred. Applicants should have a minimum of three years teaching experience in higher education or professional settings.

Experience in ESP (architecture, computer technology, business, international relations, finance, management) instruction is particularly relevant.

In the summers, we have 4-6 week courses beginning in mid-May and ending in mid-August. Instructors may teach up to six hours per day. The ELI pays between $25 - $35 for qualified candidates. Rates vary according to course and responsibility.

ESL Instructor
The Syracuse University English Language Institute seeks an experienced (minimum 5 years) and dynamic ESL instructor (12 month renewable appointment), with an MA in TESOL or related degree, native-like proficiency in English and experience with a range of L1 university students to develop and teach courses for academic or professional purposes (ESP experience advantageous).
